Port and sherry glasses are generally a small glass because they are consumed slowly in small amounts, but the glass should be large enough to swirl and capture aromatics that affect how the wine tastes. Sherry tends to be more acidic and higher in alcohol. Originating from Portugal, port is a sweet red wine, produced with distilled grape spirits.
