Edinburgh - 6 Crystal Wine Glasses 218mm (Presentation Boxed) | Royal Scot Crystal
Inspired by the timeless elegance of Scotland's capital, these Edinburgh Crystal Wine Glasses offer a classic cut and an elegant silhouette, perfect for enjoying your favourite wines with sophisticated style. Each glass is a true testament to superb craftsmanship, meticulously hand-cut with the iconic Edinburgh pattern. This design, renowned for its depth and brilliance, features a timeless combination of deep diamond cuts accented by elegant fan cuts that beautifully catches and refracts light. This intricate pattern creates a dazzling sparkle along the base and lower bowl, showcasing the exceptional artistry of the crystal. The bowl is balanced upon a refined stem and foot.
The classic, elegant shape of the bowl is perfectly suited for enhancing a variety of lighter wines. The size helps to concentrate the delicate, fruit-forward aromas of white wine, rosé, and lighter-bodied red wines without over-exposing them to air. The stemmed design ensures your hand's warmth never affects the wine's temperature, guaranteeing that every sip is savoured at its ideal coolness, bringing a touch of refined Scottish tradition to your table. For those who prefer a more generous pour, the Edinburgh Large Crystal Wine Glass is also available.
The Edinburgh Crystal Wine Glasses are available in pairs, and sets of four and six.

Washing
It is safe to put the glasses in a dishwasher however hand washing crystal in warm, soapy water and drying with a lint-free cloth is preferable.
Storage
Keep the rim of the glass clean and chip-free by storing the right way up and never stacking.
Temperature
Avoid pouring hot liquids into cold crystal or vice versa, as extreme temperature changes can cause breakage. Place ice cubes into your drink rather than dropping from a height and avoid using ice machines.
Weight
You may notice subtle weight variations between pieces due to traditional manufacturing techniques like hand-cutting and mouth-blowing
Does a seed or bubble in crystal constitute a flaw?
With mouth blown glass you do sometimes get air bubbles which are considered to be hallmarks of mouth blown handmade glassware. Tiny bubbles the size of a pin point sometimes form in the fusing or melting process and do not affect the quality of the piece. Such slight variations are natural results of handcrafting.
