Edinburgh Ships Tray & Crystal Ships Decanter (Gift Boxed) | Royal Scot Crystal
Bring a touch of nautical history and classic Scottish elegance to your home bar with the Edinburgh Ships Decanter & Tray. This set features a hand-cut crystal decanter, with its iconic flat base originally designed for stability on board ships. Each piece is meticulously hand-cut with the iconic Edinburgh pattern, a timeless design of diamond and fan cuts that beautifully catches and refracts light. This intricate pattern creates a dazzling sparkle, showcasing the artistry of fine crystal. The decanter rests elegantly on a distinguished wooden tray, making it perfect for showcasing and serving your finest whiskies, ports, and wines.
Decanting serves two main purposes. For older wines and ports, it separates the liquid from any sediment that has collected over time, ensuring a smooth pour. For younger wines and spirits like brandy, the process of aerating the liquid "opens up" the flavors, allowing the full bouquet of aromas and complexities to be released. This traditionally elegant decanter is perfectly versatile for elevating your drinking experience.
The Crystal Ships Decanter is supplied in a blue card gift box with gold foil blocking.
