Barley Twist - 2 Flower of Scotland (Thistle) Port/Sherry Glasses 140mm (Gift Boxed) | Royal Scot Crystal
Experience the captivating artistry of these Barley Twist Flower of Scotland Port/Sherry Glasses, where 18th-century design meets the iconic Scottish heritage. Each glass is a unique creation, mouth-blown and expertly shaped by master glass makers who skillfully twist the molten stem to create the signature, graceful barley twist design.
The bowl is adorned with a delicate, hand-cut Thistle design—the national emblem of Scotland. This is executed using the demanding technique of intaglio engraving, where the intricate pattern is cut into the crystal's surface by a highly skilled UK craftsman, adding a stunning, textured dimension to the design.
The glass features a traditional, small tapered bowl perched above the historical stem. This shape is specifically designed to enhance the drinking experience of fortified wines. The gentle taper of the bowl works to effectively concentrate the delicate, complex aromas of your Port, Sherry, or fine liqueur at the rim. This focused delivery ensures you fully appreciate the nuanced bouquet and flavour, making these refined vessels ideal for savouring your preferred spirits and liqueurs with a proud nod to Scottish tradition.
Supplied in a card gift box with gold foil blocking.
