Classic Collection - Ships Decanter ENGRAVED SHERRY, 225mm (Gift Boxed) | Royal Scot Crystal
This truly special Ships Decanter is the perfect vessel for a lovely bottle of sherry, blending classic maritime design with superb crystal craftsmanship. Each decanter is meticulously hand-made and mouth-blown by skilled artisans. The decanter features the iconic "ship's" design, defined by its broad, flat base and long, graceful neck. This classic shape is highly stable. The centerpiece is the expertly applied, engraved "Vintage Sherry Label" inscription, which adds a heritage touch and clearly identifies the contents. The crystal is left beautifully clear and unadorned, ensuring maximum brilliance to showcase the rich, amber colour of your fortified wine.
The broad, stable base was originally inspired by decanters used on the high seas, ensuring the decanter will not tip over—a perfect functional feature for your home bar. It is the ideal vessel for storing and proudly serving Sherry, Port, or Madeira. The act of decanting gently exposes the fortified wine to air, which helps to release its complex, nutty, and aged aromas. For older vintages, it is crucial for separating the liquid from any sediment, ensuring a smooth and elegant pour every time.
