Grapevine - Crystal Ships Decanter, 225mm (Gift Boxed) | Royal Scot Crystal
This exquisite Grapevine Crystal Ships Decanter is a true testament to the art of British glassmaking, blending traditional form with stunning, artisanal detail. This decanter is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, being hand-made and mouth-blown into the iconic 'Ships' shape—featuring a broad, stable base and a classically tapered neck. This design was historically favoured on ships because the wide base prevented tipping during rough seas. The defining feature is the intricate Grapevine intaglio design, This highly detailed intaglio work creates a beautiful, tactile texture of trailing vines and lush grapes, adding a unique touch of natural sophistication.
Perfect for storing and proudly serving your favourite spirits (such as whisky, rum, or brandy), this elegant decanter makes a magnificent statement on any home bar or dining table. It is also highly effective for decanting fine wines, as the broad base allows the wine to breathe optimally, which mellows tannins and releases the wine's full, complex bouquet of aromas. Its exceptional clarity and unique cutting ensure it is an heirloom piece to be treasured.
Supplied in a card gift box with gold foil blocking.
